Hotpoint wf310

    have got hotpoint wf310 washer with following problem – switch on and door locks ok water starts to fill ,goes into wash mode ok but continues to fill with water and doesn’t stop filling !! , have checked few basic things pressure switch /tube etc with no luck there, any suggestions ??

    Have you removed the sump hose and checked the filter?

    Blown triac on module will do this as well.

    Looks like the feathered one may be correct now that you have eliminated all the simple possibilties. The module is quite expensive but is covered under the five year parts warranty, might be best to pass it to Hotpoint, or send the module to EMW/QER for repair.

    A few different eeproms used on these, Hot & Cold fill or Cold only. Make sure you get the full model number and serial number to ID correctly.

    PS. A quick visual check on the module usually reveals blown triacs, a real pain in the butt to get out now that it is stuffed down at the bottom. 😥

    machine been given to me by customer so don’t have all guarantee details ,but should have been covered by 5year parts warranty .However had pcb module out but nothing obvious wrong does anybody do exchange/repair on these ? any idea re cost of this or is it a case of scrapping machine

    EMW will test the module for a small handling charge.

    Be sure to give them as much info on model as possible.
