❓ been to a hotpiont wf320,strange fault, the door interlock locks but the display “door lock led” does not light and the machine does not start but the wash and spin leds lite up.the door is locked . Have changed door lock but still the same fault. The machine has filled with water which is soapy so machine stopped in wash.Customer says the machine has been temperamental to start for the last couple of weeks….Can anybody help or should i tell customer to use her 5 year parts guarantee and walk away, machine is 15 months old…………

check the motor

damn merloni machines.. they do that!!

lock the door.. wont start… carbons or duff armature

failing that, pcb n eprom

Going out to this one on monday, Hotpoint WF320, customer says that clothes are coming out wet – other than the obvious pump area not motor action or blockage Id be grateful for info. thanks

Get loads of phone calls for OOB faults on these Ian. Also the wiring tends to break at the motor plug, Should give flashing neon error messages for most faults.
