Hotpoint WF320 door locking light flashing

Hi,
My washing machine will not work at all.
I have tried all different programs and the machine will not work.
All the leds light up at ‘cancel’ , if I put it onto pump out (shortest program)after a few minutes the door lock starts flashing, the washer does not function at all. I have changed the door interlock and the door is locked after as it should be although this happened before I changed the door interlock. I have removed the pump check it with a meter and it is alright, I also checked the wiring between the pump and PCB at this point and this reads alright. I am at a loss now, please help.

Check the motor brushes and wiring connections. 😉

The one connected to the drum via a black belt!

Hi,
Checked the brushes they are about 3/8 on the long side and about 5/16 on the shorter side.

Worth trying some new brushes and make sure you tighten up the tiny pins in the motor plug, if that doesn’t fix it then it might be time to invest in a decent machine. 😉
