Hotpoint WF321 Spin sounds like a Train!!

Our washing machine has started making a horrendous noise when spinning. The normal high pitch spinning sound has been replaced with what sounds like a train running on its tracks and there is also a sound like a stone is in the drum.
It is about 4 years old and has been fine up to a couple of days ago. When The drum is empty and you spin it manually there is no noise and it seems completely normal but when it is spinning out and you look through the door there seems to be possibly more movement than normal.
I just wondered if anyone would know what it could be and if it is worth trying to get it fixed or whether its just on its way out!!

Has the concrete counterbalance weight that’s bolted on the top of the drum come loose?
