Went to this machine about six weeks ago, error code indicated pressure switch stuck on full. Removed two colour catchers from pump filter.
Went back on Saturday morning to exactly the same fault, this time I removed a single colour catcher. :rolls:
Tested on fill, drain & spin OK.
Got a call later to say the machine had stopped dead, no lights at all, door would open, clothes wet and very hot. They left it a short while and then set it to rinse & spin and it completed the cycle. A second attempt apparently produced the same result.
I arranged to call round this lunchtime and asked her to set it to a wash without clothes an hour before my ETA.
When I got there she said it seems to have gone through most of the cycle perfectly. It appeared to be in a rinse & spin cycle but I did notice that the door lock light and the wash, rinse & spin lights were all on at the same time. ❓
Plug and socket are fine and when I tried it on wash, rinse or spin the individual lights for each programme lit up without the other two. 😕
I have had several of these completely dead due to faulty main PCB but not had one that apparently goes off then comes back to life again. :rolls:
Apart from the obvious remedy 😉 any other suggestions welcome. 🙂
Jim.
