have a Hotpoint WF340 & its suddenly stopped working! What we get is the power light flashing & the half load light flashing but no water intake or noises.Door locks fine.
I opened machine up & checked for blockages – only a 20p bit!,
Pump turns ok & has continuity, water valves have continuity. Water level switch seems to switch when blow into, Checked main motor brushes & they are very worn but commutator looks fine! Is this likely the problem or is it possibly the electronics? ( if so Ill scrap it – can deal with electrical/mechanics but find if its electronics never worth fixing!)

Worn brushes will stop the machine from working, even stop it filling and would be the first thing to change.

Do you mean the Mini load light, don’t think there is a half load light.

Which of the left hand vertical lights from top to bottom by number is flashing?

If it is the top light or mini load light then that is an F08 error code.:(

If you do a forum search for Indest+eight+flashes you may want to kick it in touch after reading them.;)

Supposed to be a heater relay fault on main pcb.

Light is next to “half load” ( no “mini load” mentioned!) & also the power light next to the power button

It doesn’t matter what the light is called, is it light 1, 2 , 3 etc from the top down.
