Hotpoint WF340 no go

Year old Hotpoint WF340 vogue cold fill version 4 washing machine. When you select programme it locks door although door locked LED does’nt light up, programme status LED comes on, eg,, wash, spin if spin programme selected. Then nothing, i’ve tried new door interlock but no different. Is there a way of resetting those Indesh1t modules?

i think ull find the motors faulty m8

either the brushes or the motor itself

i had this last week and it was a broken wire on the motor plug.

Yeah, that was it, dodgy motor. Open circuit coil. pitted armature also, motor seems to have bad bearing as it catches in one position when you turn it by hand, this machine was brand new & used once or twice in a rented accomodation, failed & landlord never bothered about it & its now over a year old…
