    changed control board on this last week(emw) and all seemed fine but got called back today the customer is complaning that on the wool cycle the drum rotates to fast it seems to be ok on all the other programmes any ideas as to what would cause this thanks cras

    That is quite normal, your customer has not noticed it before, its the woollen turbo wash. It will wash at almost distribute speed for a few minutes before settling down to a normal wash action.

    wash speed is fast on the plaltinum cycle. peersonaly i dont understand wool washes have alway been slow , more ideas fron europe, like the cookers the dont cook properly 😀

    Try any mid range WMA on the wool cycle and it will do exactly the same. The later hybrid timers for some WM/WD machines came with an instruction sheet warning you that the new timer incorporated this feature.

    I know of one chap who changed a WMA Pcb many years ago because he thought it was at fault. 😳 😉

    Put it down to experience eh. 😆
