Hotpoint WF530 Stationary mini load, reduced crease flashing

Have had this fault before but need a head start. It was a blocked pipe if I recall correctly the last time but this seems more sinister.
Machine static(hotpoint WF530) with the MINI LOAD and REDUCED CREASES LIGHTS flashing once per second. On/Off button flashing more rapidly.

from left hand panel,top to bottom:
light 2 – reduced creases, light 4 mini load.

Turned the machine off for five minutes then selected fast spin to empty so as to unload but the machine seemed to do a wash cycle (acrylics) for 20mins or so then back to the flashing lights as indicated.

update…how does half a plastic bag get into the front filter!
Filter unscrewed and unblocked. Machine currently doing a fast spin. Selected ’empty’ initially and the pump ran for a short while. Hold fire!

We are holding our fire Arthur. The error code by the way indicates a pump blockage so we think you’ve cracked it…. 😀

Do you recommend washing plastic bags by the way?
