Hotpoint WF541

Hi guys,

Hopefully a quick one.

Went to see a Hotpoint WF541 this afternoon, door locked light constantly on, door obviously won’t open. Unplugged the machine and it still doesn’t open, disconnected the wiring to the interlock and it opens??? Tried a new interlock and exactly the same, it only opens when the wiring to the interlock is removed.

Am I right in thinking this is a motor related issue? I checked the module and all looked fine, wiring fine, brushes on the motor were fine, what could I be missing?

Could even be stuck pressure switch???

Aww, something I’ve obviously missed. Will return to it for inspection.

It was just a thought, if the machine is full of water and plugged in the door won’t open.
