    hi, have hotpoint wf541p verticle lighits 1,2,3,4 are flahsing 5 is off, now ive read the fult code paperwork, and this fault says f15 which is dryer heater faulty relay, as far as i know this machine dosnt have a dryer on it, any ideas ??? or do these machines still use the dryer relary for something else ?

    Sometimes a dodgy element going to earth can cause the heater relay code. disconnect the element and run it to see if the code returns.

    I agree with Micky32 but sometimes disconnecting the heater still gives the same fault as its looking for a circuit through the element.
    If the original heater is open circuit or low insulation then the best thing is to quote for and fit a heater.
    You can then run it on the fast wash which is ideal for proving the point.
