The 4th light (mini) was flashing when I called, which is motor triac faulty. I sent the module to EMW, fitted the repaired one, which was OK for a couple of days.

Now the machine is completely dead. (no lights, no door locking, no nothing) There is a live and nuetral feed to the module, but it’s still dead. Can I assume another fault on the module, or can anyone help with another suggestion. Thanks

just make sure the fascai pcb hasnt slipped, and the buttons are locked

    failing that, its the pcb

i tend to take the pcb off the fascia and see if it swirches on whilst its of to confirm

Also check all the wiring to the main module. Access for fitting this is so poor on these machines that it would be easy to overlook a loose plug.

Thanks for the replies. Another repaired module from EMW cured it.

I think the problem was caused by a dodgy earth in the socket, one to look out for.

Question? there was a black earth wire on the motor which went to the mains supressor on a seperate terminal. Is this to give the invertor type motor a clean earth?
