I have a wf560 in with a crazy fault. It would show an error of the no.1 light flashing. If I put the heater leads on another heater there is no error code but the machine won’t spin. It just tumbles on and on. I have tried another motor (3 phase brushless), another board from emw who have also tested my board and said it is fine. Tried the front board, the pump, the pressure switch, valve and the wiring loom. With the board from emw fitted I can put the heater leads back on the original heater without getting an error code. It just will not spin, it’s just as if the variable spin knob is set at no spin.

Maybe it is, maybe that variable spin control is at fault?

I’ve cured it, there was a bit of a split forming in the belt.
A new one got it running. It’s also strange that these machines will not put the motor into spin if the motor is on the floor, yet on saturday , we had a similar machine with a digital flourescent display (wf860 I think) and the motor entered spin on the floor with no problem.
