Hotpoint WF560P will only run spin cycle

Hi I wonder can anyone help with this problem.
My nephew tells me that his hotpoint (WF560P) will only spin.
The symptoms he tells me are that the machine is loaded door shows as being locked, and no matter what position the controller is set at it will only do the spin cycle.

This machine is just out of warranty (how unlucky I know).
I hope someone can come up with the likely cause for this.

If not enough info provided I will get back to him to raise any queries.

possibly a module ormotor fault you best get an engineer to look at this one

It can be caused by a broken wire adjacent to the motor plug. Be sure to remove the mains plug if you intend to put your hands inside. 😉
