    Washing machine Hotpoint WF561p locked up with the following lights on permanently (not flashing)-
    Delay timer, Super wash, Easy iron & Extra rinse.
    Power and rinse cycle lights are also on. I have tried power resets and checked for blockages, can anybody advise what could be the problem?

    Hi Don as lights were not flashing fault codes do not apply so I checked the PCB and 2 of the electrolytic caps looked like they had blown 1 definately had 680uf and possibly the 470uf one. I changed both and machine all working now. Seems to be quite common that this component fails.
