    18 month old Hotpoint showing F10. (Twice a week use.)

    I’ve read other posts on this but thought I would start affresh.

    Machines fills as normal, firstly through one side of the valve then swaps to the other side of the valve.

    The machine then starts wash action as if its has registered the correct level of water. But as soon as it has started the wash action it carries on filling until it aborts / drains / flashes F10.

    Is it as I have read a 50/50 chance on it being the pressure switch or module.

    I would be more inclined to think its the pressure switch jj

    Changed pressure switch and now running a treat.

    I had a pressure switch for a WD860 which switched the same. (Normal operating and safety.)

    The only thing is it may be filling a bit higher. Instead of just below the door seal the level now just touches the glass.

    The customer has just run a towel wash on the 30 degree cottons and all is well.
