hi wonderd if any 1 can help i have a hotpoint wf740 washer with fault code f2 coming up the machine wont work how do i solve this problem

You don’t, you send for Hotpoint and take advantage of your five year parts guarantee. F02 is a motor/triac fault, the likely parts will cost you more than Hotpoint’s £90.00 labour charge.

hi jim thanks for that but the only problem is i bought it 2nd had out of the local paper with no garuntee does this mean i only need the motor replacing

Difficult to say, the Indesit electronics on these machines are very fragile and a fault in the motor can lead to PCB failure.

I would advise getting a local independent engineer to take a look. There is no point buying a £100 motor to find that the £95 module is also borked.
