ParticipantHi folks
Been to this one today not pumping out. Customer had look and has broken the filter/trap so the back is missing and the two arms.
I suspect this is the problem as checked every thing out and pumps out a small amount of water but wont pump out full load – nothing apears blocked and checked for coins ect in hoses acting as flap valves. So suspect missing filter back is affecting the vortex of the pump some way.
Anyone come across this?
Does any one know if you can get just the filter as a spare or is it complete pump/filter asy? And any part no.
Masterpart not coming up with anything for that model and Connect coming up with the old Hotpoint WMA pump. This is the Indesit type at the front.
Thanks
Mick

its more likeley to be something stuck in the neck of the sump, wrapped around the eco ball , its pretty common
pig to get to, as well

Yes last week in fact. Replaced filter all ok. I can’t give you the part number because I had one in my pump box from somewhere?
Must be all those WF’s I’ve scrapped recently.
I new the bits would come in handy. Recycling at its best.

Thanks guys – much appreciated
Looks like Masterpart do a patern individual one for a third of the price of a pack of three but no picture so not sure if it is the right one.
Looks like its a genuine pack of three at nearly the cost of a pump asy 🙁
Thanks
Mick

the machine does require the entire filter if you remove the back half the water will not pump out correctly that is what the inner housing is there for have seen this several times on indesit and hotpoint appliances

ParticipantRe: Hotpoint WF741 Pump filter
i have looked on connect and there is no wf741 or similar
despite me having 2 in my shop
although searching for just hotpoint pump filters on there own does bring up a few reuslts so it is possible if you search hard enough or ring themAugust 12, 2010 at 6:00 pm #326234Phidom
ParticipantRe: Hotpoint WF741 Pump filter
Can anyone confirm that these packs of 3 filters include the right one for the WF Hotpoints? Masterpart list a few Hotpoints using that part number but they seem to be obscure models like the integrated Indesit clones.

I would guess that it does, Partfinder lists the pump Rob mentions earlier in this thread as fitting WF540 as well as WT machines but strangely when you search Partfinder for the filter WF540 is not listed. :con:
