Over the years I have had many instances of customers complaing that the machine stops during the rinse part of the cycle . In many cases the only thing I could find was worn out motor brushes . Replacing the brushes cured the fault . This has happened too often to be a coincidence. What I would like to know is WHY?

The computer side of things will only make a finite number of attempts to run the motor before giving up. I find the dial usually gets to just before the end of the ash on cottons.

So this normally occurs only in smoking households?

    I’ll get my coat.
