    I have an early WM11p. The door seal is fixed to the drum with a flat band. The only replacement you offer is the 1603006, which is usually fixed with a wire. Will the flat band be OK? If so, do I fit it with the bent over lip outwards or, as I found it, with the lip at the back, against the drum?

    the lip coes againt the drum side

    i find it easir to put the edge of the band in the groove on the seal, makes it nice and tight!

    Many thanks for your reply. So I can still use the band, and the bent over edge fits in the (wire) groove. I will order up a 1603006 immediately. javascript:emoticon(‘:D’)
