Hotpoint WM21P Motor

Looking for a replacement motor for above machine and not sure whether it`s 1604810 or 1604822 :?.

Serial No. 29135210 and 1000rpm spin.

If it is an analogue controlled machine ( separate timer & module ) then you need a 1604810. If it has the hybrid control unit then you need 1804822.

Thanks , but is there any way of making even an educated guess from the serial number as this is a long distance trip.

Full production of the hybrid control was implemented in April 1995 (date code 16)
So it looks like you need a 1608422.

Why not fit an ARM 20 from Qualtex, will fit either type of GDA motor.

I`ve been put off those armatures after reading this :lol:.

Seriously , 1604822 available from Masterpart for a good price of £39:99+vat :D. At that price and if the customer is happy , I`d rather simply replace the complete motor.
