Can anyone tell me how to remove and replace shock absorbers on this washing machine?

There are several ways to achieve this, I have always managed to do it by just removing the front panel, it is quite physically demanding, a bit of a wrestling match at the same time. Some people do it by lying the machine on either side, still awkward. At the other extreme end you could remove the complete drum assembly to do it, no hard and fast rules TBH.

To do the job correctly you should use THIS kit, includes all the bits you will need.

    Hi iadom
I have tried with the machine on its side.
After removing the bottom nuts how do I then get the shock absorber out?

    😉

It is in two halves, the suspension rod and the shock absorber. I think you will find removing and replacing the nut holding the suspension rod your greatest challenge TBH.

Do you mean I have to compress the shock absorber?
Also to unscrew top balljoint type socket do I have to grip the shaft with a mole wrench?

I genuinely do not mean any offence by this but the type of basic questions you are asking suggests to me that it may be better if this job was left to someone with a modicum of technical expertise. It is not a simple DIY job TBH.

It is, and part of that help is us having a gut feeling that a poster is not up to the task in hand, that applies in this instance, sorry.
