Hotpoint WM36 E15 error code

Last couple of days my washer has givrn an E15 eror whilst spinning, Took back off last night and i noticed that the flexi rubber tube between the pump and drum was collapsing whilst on spin cycle.

I have checked the pump and there is nothing in there that should not be.

It’s blocked in that hose between the drum and pump by the sound of it, the pump “suction” is causing the collapse due to the restriction.

A sock is most likely 😉

Thanks Dave you were spot on.

Stripped of pipe and guess what was in the plastic trap filter.

The remnants of a spiderman sock..
