Hotpoint WM63 long delay between starting

Hi

Would appreciate any help on this one. I have a Hotpoint WM63 – problem is that it completes any program satisfactorily and the door locked light goes off, door opens no problem. But when I try to start another program the machine won’t operate – no door locked light coming on. I have found that if I try it 20 – 25 minutes later it works ok. The program finishes and then same problem re-occurs. Tried fitting a new door interlock switch but same problem.
