Hotpoint WM63 – Not taking soap powder

I have a Hotpoint WM63 that doesn’t take the powder from the right hand section of the dispensing draw but it does take the fabric conditioner from the left hand side.

I’ve changed the brushes on the motor but no change.

Any ideas?

Have you got a good hot water supply to machine? If you fill the machine on the 95 degree wash does hot water come in?

I’m at work at the moment. I’ll try that when I get home but I know I’ve got a good hot water supply and the draw holes are clear.

If I have a good supply what else could be the problem?

Inlet valve. Unplug power if you are going to have a look yourself.
