Hotpoint WM63 (programing not working)

Hi.

My Hotpoint aquarius WM63 was making banging noises and then the belt snaped but I have another washing machine thats the same model but dont run through the programing correctly for exsample it doesnt drain the water and apears to miss the spin cycle?

Anyway I need to know what part is responsable for the programing of the washing machine so I can use that one that works?

This is quite Urgent as we have 4 kids and no washing machine.

hi there first washer could be a number of things bearings,weight,suspension,springs, uneven loads the list goes on should recomened an engineer to that one!
The second machine sounds like a blockage or the drain pump might of had it! very hard to say what it is without seeing machine but does sound like a drainage problem either way if you do decide to have a go at it remember REMOVE THE PLUG FIRST!
