Hi
My WM64 did a wash Ok but the door would not open. I had to release the lock from the inside to remove the washing.
After opening up the door switch I noticed quite alot of internal damaged in the form of arcing marks and burn damage on one of the metal contacts.
I have now replaced the door lock switch but the machine will not work.
The light on the front does not light either although their is power to the machine. I have checked that the switch is connected correctly.
Can anyone please offer any advice as to what might be the problem.
blown or faulty door interlock us usually caused by a fault on the timer board on these machines. the comfirmation of a faulty board is bunrt tracks on the board and/or burnt edge connectors. cure is replace board/timer and door interlock.
POWER OFF of course if you decide to check the timer/board.

Yep you were right, the board is indeed burnt out.
Looks like the machines a right off.
Going to check price of a new board but I guess Itll be around £100.
