Hotpoint wm64 it was rattling on spin – the door wont close

Thanks for the advice and having rescued 15 (very damaged) p from the drain sump – it now spins quietly.

Now, however, the door hinge is constantly coming unscrewed and having spent ages trying to secure the top screw into the hinge & the back plate I wonder if there are any tricks to getting the screw to stay in place?

New outer door trim required or epoxy resin glue (Araldite) 😉

Is this one of the two screws that go through the hinge and into the plate inside the cabinet. If so possible cures are a new rear plate, or a slightly longer bolt that you can fasten a small nut onto ( make sure it does not stick out into the door seal.
