Hi there new to this site; Have to replace the drum bearings on a Hotpoint wm65s automatic, Any advice how to do it, Does the front have to come off to get the drum out & what torque setting does the spider nut have to be set at?
    Thanks

Yup, front off. There are no specific torque setting – body weight and a good bounce or two is sufficient.

Inspect heater as well when you’re in there – the drum can run against it and cut the sleeving if the bearings are particularly bad.

    Power off at all times,
