Water is being left in the washer after full cycle. The pump sounds like it is working so I am guessing at a blockage. How do I get at the pump and where is favourite for the blockage to be?

    Any help appreciated

    Thanks

    plug out before doing anything.

check the end of the drain hose if it fits onto plumbing fitting first.
then if no joy carry out the following.

this machine has a filter type device built into the sump hose.
dont touch the pump but remove the bottom panel at the back of the machine this will allow good access to the sump hose.
remove the hose from the tub end using a large pair of pliers or vice grips to take of the spring clamp. you will then see a plastic cup like device most likely to have fluff, coins etc. stuck in it.
clean it out and refit the hose and clamp ensure it is on nice and tight this should fix it.
let us now how you get on i would wear gloves watch out for sharp edges and if that spring clamp flies out your pliers it will take your eye out apart from that its fairly easy.

Brilliant advise, it was for my elderly mother-in-laws machine she is over the moon. It was a mixture of fluff and curtain hooks in the filter!

Thanks for taking the time to reply

    Cheers
