Hotpoint WMA 52

    The final spin does not cut in and the final spin led flashes, do we need to know how many flashes to diagnose?

    No flash error codes by number on these. Check all obvious things, brushes, loose or chafing wiring, especially near the front balance weight, partially blocked sump, OOB loads etc.

    Try the ‘Last error detected’ routine in the Known Error Codes thread at the top of this forum.

    Just checking manual, spin led flashing is normal and signifies OOB condition. you could save yourself a wasted journey. 😉

    Tell them to RTFM. 😆

    Just to confirm wot iadom said. The flashing end light at the end of the cycle means Out of Balance. Were they washing a single item. Even if it has the one button on the options it will still not spin.
