This is not something I have encountered before and TBH still haven’t. 😕

Customer reported that she came to the machine expecting it to have finished to find two lights (not door lock ) still on. For some reason she pulled out the soap drawer to find water spurting in in short pulses, this apparently stopped on its own. ❓

The machine is very lightly used and looks pristine, all components check out perfectly, wiring harness perfect, last reported error is the usual ‘door not closed’.

I ran it through several tests and could find no faults whatsoever.

I may be wrong but I am sure I remember reading an odd post on something similar a few years back, can’t remember just what it was about though. :clown:

Anyone encountered this or can point me towards the original threads ( assuming I didn’t imagine them of course ) 😀

    Jim.

I think the post said it was the door interlock.

I’m sure in the distant past i had one doing this as Roy says i think it was the door interlock that that cured it.

Thinking back I do remember something about this, also had a couple of the ISE/Vestel machines doing the same thing at the time, also remember someone saying they had a few Vestel produced Whirpool machines with the same fault.

Will update this thread if I get called back.
