Hotpoint WMA 63 noise!

Odd one this ,just need to know if anybody has any trouble with the chassis or back wheels? It’s making a knocking noise when you move the tub assy from side to side ,it doesnt do it if you take the weight off the side of the m/c so it rules out suspension, it seems like the back rhs corner but i’ve tightened the wheel plates, the wheels don’t move at all, the floor is flat & the m/c level, & its been in the same place for the last 3yrs! Odd….

sounds like the noise you used to get on the old 95’s when the metal around the damper used to crack. I’d look for metal failure at the joints between bottom and sides.
