ParticipantCan anyone advise? Hotpoint have changed their WMA interlocks to the type fitted on the Aristons (ROLD). Connections used on the Hotpoints are 2.3.4 after reversing the plug. Connections on the same type of lock on the Ari. are 1.2.3. If I fit the Hotpoint Lock to and ARI. what are the connections? π 4=1 3=2 2=3
Just thought it would be a good idea to just stock one type

Just thought that someone may have sussed it out and have the details written down, before I start opening them up. π I am sure some of the Hot/Ind guys will have worked it out as they have the wiring diagrams and tech. bulletinβs π

Is this pdf file for the interlock you are referring to?

Was quite handy for us as at first we thought Homespare were sending us the wrong part π

Yes, fig3 is the new type. As I said the plug is now reversed as in the PDF.
Both the Hotpoint and Ari/Ind use this Rold type now except as I said, the Hot. interlock has terminals, 234., the Ari/Ind uses terms. 123

……and all Mal wants to know is the terminal configuration? Switching the plugs around is not an option without knowing which terminal is LIVE COMMON & NEUTRAL….right Mal? π
