Hotpoint WMA13P

Above machine with small tear in sump hose , nice easy job I thought , but when it came to ordering the part it seems I need to order sump kit 1604035.
Is the sump hose available on its own or do I need to fit all the parts as a modification :?:.

Been like that for a while Bryan, had a small hole in a sump hose almost 3 years ago, had to fit the kit.

Comes with new pressure switch, pressure hose, sump hose and pump flap valve 😕

Just curious , but does anyone (Jim probably) know the reason for this modification :?.

Well the new flap valve was to cure a problem with the valve sticking intermittantly. It is certainly a better seal with the later all rubber sump as opposed to the plastic one with the thin rubber strip round the inside, they leak quite often. not sure of the actual reason ❓
