    Ivan down in Otley would like an answer to this one.

    Machine runs through programme completely normally, does the final spin sequence, then fills with water and stops with Pre-wash lamp flashing. He has replaced the board with a new one – exactly the same.

    well we can rule the board out then 😆 , i would hazard a guess at an earth leak or usual chaffed wires on them.
