I’ve been to look at a Hotpoint WMA32 that doesnt take away the conditioner in the rinse, took out drawer & looked in while water is coming in to rinse, when conditioner solenoid is energised the water comes in to r.h.s instead, took off soap drawer top & checked for blockages, nothing visible, should there be a deflector in there? somehow i get the feeling theres something missing, i’ve ordered a new drawer top but just wondered had anyone else encountered this?

    Seamy,

When the fabric conditioner is activated on a WMA series BOTH cold solenoids are energised together. The idea being that the convergance of flow down both channels forces the water FORWARD at that juncture towards the fabric conditioner channel on the F/L/H/Side 😀

So there are 3 possibles here for you to check, one, not enough mains pressure, two, channels blocked or restricted and finally not both solenoids are working :con:

Thanks Martin, i’ve checked & both solenoids were energised, both did allow water in, as i felt pressure in pipes & could also see from inside, but water did’nt go into conditioner department, i suspect a blockage, i’ve ordered a new soap drawer dispenser & my supplier tells me that its a new part so perhaps some modification has been made!
