Now here’s one for all you Hotpoint experts πŸ˜‰

WMA35, fitted a new door seal on Monday, checked and tested it all OK

First wash by customer worked ok, next wash select any programme and machine goes straight into rinse and spin only, no door closed light on but door locked ok.
This is where I come in again. Sure enough as customer says only does rinse and spin.
I put it through the test prog . and a component test all ok πŸ˜•

Next I checked to see if the board was configured correctly, as it was. Still no wash. My immediate thought was that the board was corrupted so I attempted to re-configure the board with no success. I attempted this five times before it allowed me to re-configure:?
Put the maching on wash, now work fine.

I had previously repaired the board after the wiring loom had “chafed” but that was a couple of years ago

Now I thought I new these buggers inside out but this one has completely stumped me 😳 Any ideas peeps?

Check for bad soulder or dry joints in the areas that you repaired before.

Well there you go, you live and learn eh Mal? πŸ˜‰

You did mention that you “re-configured the board” but clearly that was a typo error you made and should have read “re-configured the bird”. It’s all down to knowing which buttons to press on them that’s all…. 8)
