Door Interlock is 95{e5d1b7155a01ef1f3b9c9968eaba33524ee81600d00d4be2b4d93ac2e58cec2d} sure to be the problem but do check :-

Wiring harness chaffing on cabinet, water leaks on motor, motor drawing too much current for starters 😉

P.s Trace the door interlock wires to the module board and if the tracks are blown in that area you will know for sure it was the Interlock that caused it 8)

Very common for the wiring harness to chaff on the concrete balance weight.

it was an insurance job so we changed motor ,door switch and board,we did check for chaffing but found nothing. the thing that worried me was when you do a wm machine and you split open the interlock and you can see a lovely splash mark inside the switch but this one was as clean as a whistle.
ps what does emw charge for a replcement board and are they formatted?m

Boards are £34.90+vat inc postage. Yes, they are set up for the model number so please quote the model when ordering. We also have a diagnostic sheet available with these boards – ask for one when ordering. Tony 0115 9652118

Last three wma machines I’ve been to with blown boards, have all been caused by the motor brushes wearing out from normal use, machines were between 5 and 6 years old.
