Usually old lock has taken out PCB. unless door catch spring is weak.

Worth trying to repair blown tracks on pcb if you find any, sometimes get away with it. 😉

yep first look at door latch to make sure both springy bits are intact, then if they are okay then look at board for blown track where neutral from door lock terminates. if its blown it can be caused by a few things

    1. faulty door interlock

    2. check wiring going down to motor for signs of wear i.e. rubbing against front balance weight. this wiring loom also supplies the door lock so the replace the lot.

you will see what i mean when you take the front panel off.

    HTH 🙂 🙂
