Hi
I have a Hotpoint WMA40 washing machine that has developed a fault. A service engineer looked at it and said that the original problem was with the door sensor, which he replaced, but the main problem was that this fault has blown a resistor on the control board (it seems to be identified as R11 on the board) and the whole board would need replaced at 90 quid.
Hotpoint does not sell the resistor, which looks easy to replace, and unfortunately the resistor value description on the part itself has been burnt off when the fault occured.
Does anyone know the exact description or resistor value of this part or where I could find out? I would be extremely grateful for any replies. Thanks a lot.
