Hotpoint WMA42N – Light Flashing and Fills Twice

After loading machine and closing the door, cycle starts ok and washing machine fills. Then, light starts flashing again as if I’d not started it. If I press start again, machine fills again even though it is already full!!!

For info. – door lock replaced 4 months ago but has been ok since then.

Could be a blockage in the sump pressure chamber or a tiny hole in the thin hose from pressure chamber to pressure switch.
