    Hi

Is is possible to somehow disable the out of balance sensor which stops the washer from spinning as our machine has now become super sensitive.

Last night it would not spin unless at all. This morning it only spins when empty! If it has washing in it will just spend 30 mins plus tumbling one way then the other before giving up and flashing the spin indicator light.

Is it a controller problem or a motor problem?

Thanks for any help you can give.

It is not possible to disable this function, there isn’t a ‘sensor’ as such, it relies on the control module sensing the variation in the load on the motor. The fault could lie in the motor or the control module. both fairly expensive. Best advice is to see if we have a local engineer in your area who can run the required diagnostics checks.

Also worth noting that if the machine is under 5 years old then it is covered by a manufacturers parts guarantee.
