Hotpoint WMA44 Problem

Hi Guys

Have the above model machine.The washing machine works fine on all the programmes apart from the main cotton ones.

The machine washed, heated up the water.I could not wait that long so went out and when I came back, there was no water in it and the Wash, Rinse and the spin lights were on constant.

It happened two times, ran the Test sequence and Motor Triac Short circuit comes up.

Machine spins fine.

Any clues?

Well changed the motor, same problem. Changed the harness and temporarly connected to the motor, test the washer 4 times and it was ok.

s soon as I opened the machine and put the harness in,thought test it again and the same problem i.e. the wash,rinse and spin lights constantly on.

Any ideas?
