Hi all,
Our 7-year old WMA44S has broken the inner rear bearing, Stripped it and removed the bearings and seal. Machine generally in good nick (a little corrosion on the drum shaft but the spider looks OK), wondering if it’s worth the time and effort to fix this or cut my losses and go for a new machine?
Needs a bearing kit and belt (old one snapped when the drum seized) at a minimum, will probably toss in a new brush set while I’m at it… that’s about £40 plus P&P on shop@.
What’s the expected lifetime for one of these models anyway?
Thanks,
John.
