    I have a Hotpoint Aquarius Extra 1300 spin (WMA46). It fills and empties fine, but that’s all it does, it won’t spin etc. 😥 However the drum moves freely when spun by hand! Any ideas?

    carbon brushes in the motor are the usual culprit

    motor off to check them
    and, of course, plug out
