I have had a call about this one but I am reluctant to go out as the customers husband has already ‘FIXED IT’.

Washing machine fills and drains ok but on a spin only program it locks the door pumps for approx 5 seconds and then jumps to end.

The customers husband had replaced the brushes on the motor, with genuine parts. Apparently he has always changed the brushes on her washing machines so he is ‘AN EXPERT’.

I asked them to check that they had plugged the motor back in which they have. He said that he unplugged the motor and removed it to put the new brushes in, but hasn’t touched anything else.

There are no flashing LEDs so I am thinking that the board has gone when the brushes got too low?

    Any suggestions?

Motor out of circuit will not give a fault code.

    Chris.
