    Hi all

Just been given above machine,it’s in very good condition, it just needs new bearings
Having not done a bearing change in at least 3 years, was just wondering if the drum comes out from the front, or is it easier to take out through the top?
Also is it worth renewing the tub seal,or will a bit of debor work ok

    Any info appreciated as always

Front or top take your pick its all got to come off anyway.
Personally I clean the seal and apply debor. But Im sure someone on here will beg to differ.

I beg to differ. It doesn’t really matter but I prefer ordinary silicone because it is a bit cheaper and doesn’t shrink in the gap as it cures. Use enough debor to rid the kitchen of all oxygen breathing life and it will of course work just as well 😆 .

Thanks for the advice guys, but as its for re sale..I think I’ll replace all parts with genuine ones, including the tub seal… Don’t want any comebacks!

Thanks again anyway, always good to have different opinions

I always replace the seal, when I come across a WMA
or even worse a WM that has Debor stuck all over the seal it really pees me off having to pick away at the old, dried on adhesive before I can refit a new seal.

I always change seal and lubricate with some washing up liquid never get a call back for leaking.
