Hotpoint WMA62 “child lock safe”.

Hotpoint WMA62P.
Going to this machine tomorrow. The display shows “Child lock safe” and machine will not function. I know that I have read on the forums how to reset the child lock; but I can’t remember and also have’nt found it with ‘Search.’

Any pointers please!!!

Had you entered ‘Hotpoint AND child AND lock’ in search, you would have landed on the very thread that Simon has linked to. 😉

Thanks Simon for the info. I only had a few minutes to spare to search, as I have been out working in the workshop all this evening. (just finished!) Usually I get mixed answers from the ‘Search’ feature; and as I needed a definate result, I thought I’d just write a quick post. Sorry, Jim! 😳
