A brief explanation of what is supposed to happen:

The cold water valve has two outlets, to direct the water into the different compartments of the drawer. By putting both solenoids on together, the water deflects into the conditioner compartment and fills it. it should then syphon through the cap.

Possibilities for failure are that one of the solenoids has failed – this will not be detected by the electronics, as the machine still fills within the time allowed – but not via the dispenser compartment. The more common failure is that the roof ducts in the top of the dispenser are choked and will need scrubbing/pricking clear.

Surely, this particular machine is far to young to have a solenoid failure?
